The purpose of the Seyyed Hossein Nasr Foundation is to propagate traditional teachings, in general, and the various facets of traditional Islam and other religions, in particular. Spiritually located in the perennial philosophy, traditional teachings are reflected not only in religious teachings but also in philosophy, the sciences and arts. With special emphasis on manifesting these perennial teachings as contained in the Quran, the Foundation will include studies on the various facets of Islamic thought, art and civilization.
